Day One

Day One has begun. There have been journals and there have been journals. This will be the one. Not going anywhere, ready to share, even works with all the media I prefer. Let's Do It!
Today is Bike to Work day. Today also happens to be the warmest day of the year so far in the lovely Bay Area. Due to the heat index it is also the first Spare the Air day. All told I did my part for the Polar Bears and Narwhals by biking in today, as I do 2-3 times a week these days.
The bike to work people had these energizer stations that were up and ready to give you goodies. The thought was nice, but the hot coffee was not an ideal fit. First I have no enjoyment from coffee, in fact would never drink it, and the hot part was a problem as it was 81 degrees at 8:15am as I rode past. Ice would have been more appropriate. I am going to ride home, and hope that ice is available, because checking the temp at the real-time weather station down the road it says 96 degrees. And I bet it will be warmer in a few hours!
